Autumn Production
Dalkey Town Hall, Wednesday 26th November to Saturday 29th November
Things are now in full swing for ‘Gaslight’, directed by Joan E Gregg so if you were unable to attend the production meeting and would like a job to do please don’t be shy. You may contact your committee member or the Production Manager, William Mansfield.
Thank you to all of you who attended the auditions, it is always great to have the support of our members and of course congratulations to those of you who were cast!! The cast is as follows:

Tickets and flyers will be issued as usual to society members. Please do your best to sell the ones you are given. We have found in the past that writing ‘pay at door’ on the back of them and sending them to friends/colleagues etc with a note saying for example, ‘hope to see you Thursday’ followed up with a phone call works well.
As usual rehearsals are Mondays and Thursdays in the North Over Hall and all are welcome to drop in, have a chat and join the cast in the pub afterwards!
The charity chosen for this production is St Patrick’s Church Roof appeal, which I’m sure you will agree is a very worthwhile cause.
Pavilion Theatre Update
Following on from discussions and members suggestions at the AGM, a sub committee has now being formed to progress our going to the Pavilion Theatre, Dunlaoghaire. The subcommittee are reporting back to the committee. To ensure every member of the society is informed and included, the committee would now ask all members to suggest plays they think might be suitable for this venue.
In conjunction with recommendations from the reading committee the committee will chose a play from these submissions . The deadline for submissions from members to the committee is 30th November 2008.
We are also looking for a director for the Pavilion. Interested members should contact the committee before 30th November 2008.
DATES FOR DIARIES
Saturday 22nd - Sunday 23rd November. Set construction in Dalkey Town Hall. Remember 'many hands make light work' There's lots to be done.
Wednesday 26th - Saturday 29th November. Gaslight.
