GOLDEN JUBILEE DINNER
We had a terrific night in the Royal Marine Hotel on Saturday 15th October when more than seventy past and present members celebrated the society’s 50th anniversary. We had an excellent dinner followed by music and dancing to the wonderful Gráinne Brookfield and her band.
You can see photos here. If you took photos that night and would like to share them let Michael know.
SAME OLD MOON
Congratulations to everyone involved in this terrific production. What a wonderful way to close this, our Golden Jubilee, year. Our one hundred and sixtieth production was a huge success in every respect and every member of St. Patrick’s Dramatic Society, both past and present can be very proud of the fact that from the humble beginnings of December 1961 when the society performed ‘On Monday Next’ by Philip King on a make shift stage in the old Church Hall we have developed to the point where we can fill a modern Theatre for four nights with a play with a cast of nineteen playing twenty-two characters and a production team of more than twenty. Wow! Great finish! Well done everybody.
Pictures taken at the dress rehearsal can be seen here.
